Great Charity Challenge, presented by Fidelity Investments®

The Great Charity Challenge started in 2010, generating over $400,000 for 24 local charities. Today, the event has grown to 34 local charities competing for over $2 million each year. This event is an excellent opportunity for the equestrian world to give back to the community.

To date, the Great Charity Challenge has distributed over to $6 million to 100 plus Palm Beach County Charities.

The 2015 event will be held during the 5th week of the Winter Equestrian Festival on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.

Gates will open at 5:30p.m. with the first horse on course at 6:30p.m.  Parking is located at 13421 South Shore Blvd. Wellington, FL 33414

The Great Charity Challenge is a relay style equestrian jumping competition with teams consisting of two junior/amateur riders combined with one Olympic or world-class rider. The 34 rider teams are randomly paired with 34 charities that serve Palm Beach County.

·         100% of all proceeds go straight to benefit charities

·         The winning team of riders will be awarded $150,000 for its charity

·         Every charity selected will win a guaranteed minimum of $10,000

·         Not a selected charity for the Challenge, don’t panic.  Additional to the selected 34 teams, we hold random drawings and award grants to deserving charities.

Every charity selected to compete in the Great Charity Challenge is guaranteed to win a donation to support their cause. All participating charities are required to utilize 75% of their funds in Palm Beach County, so these donations directly impact the community. To view the complete list of charities and donations received since the beginning of the Challenge, please visit the event website:

Equestrian Sport Productions, which produces the event, wishes to thank all the generous individuals, families and corporate sponsors who donate to what has become Palm Beach County's single largest charitable event.
