SHOW RESULTSMarch 6, 2008Georgina Bloomberg Wins $30,000 CN Jumper StakeWELLINGTON, Fla., Mar. 6--Georgina Bloomberg and District, an 11-year-old Selle Francaise gelding she bought last fall, won the $30,000 CN Jumper Stake Thursday at the CN Winter Equestrian Festival presented by Zimmerman Advertising. The win at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center was a boost for Ms. Bloomberg of North Salem, N.Y., her first Grand Prix victory at this year's WEF. She has, however, placed in several major classes and is in contention for a place on the short list after three of the five USEF Selection Trials for the 2008 Olympic Games. She had a successful European tour last summer.
